At the end of the last school year, seventy percent of Douglas School District’s elementary students were at or above benchmark in ELA, which is a drastic improvement from 2019, when just 45 percent of students were at or above benchmark.

In an effort to promote the partnership between the Douglas School District (DSD) and the Box Elder Police Department and to celebrate school and community pride, the Box Elder Police Department revealed their newly designed “Patriot Proud” patrol vehicle at the district’s open house on August 17th.

Safe2Say South Dakota is a statewide tip line that allows South Dakota students, school staff, and community members to safely and anonymously report sensitive information that concerns their safety or the safety of others, including mental health concerns.
