In an effort to promote the partnership between the Douglas School District (DSD) and the Box Elder Police Department and to celebrate school and community pride, the Box Elder Police Department revealed their newly designed “Patriot Proud” patrol vehicle at the district’s open house on August 17th.
“We want people to know that we take pride in partnering with and being part of the Douglas School District community. The new Patriot-themed vehicle is a great way to let everyone know that we support our local schools,” Box Elder Assistant Chief of Police Chris Misselt said.
“This vehicle is just one tangible example of the Box Elder Police Department’s commitment to our schools and student safety. We appreciate their efforts and cannot wait to see the design. It’s a great way to start the new school year,” Douglas Superintendent Kevin Case said.
