In anticipation of a significant winter storm/blizzard, Douglas Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4th. Forecasters have high confidence that the Box Elder area will receive anywhere from 12 to 18 inches of snow accompanied by strong winds, which will impact travel throughout the region.
DSD leaders will reassess the storm’s impact tomorrow afternoon and decide whether to hold school Wednesday. We will communicate any future delays or closure decisions by Tuesday evening. All activities for Tuesday are canceled, and the food pantry will be closed.
