Freshman Information

Welcome to the page about your first year at Douglas High School. This page is new to our website and will be updated throughout the summer and fall of 2024. 

 

We encourage all freshmen to read the Student Handbook on the right-hand side of the screen. We also recommend exploring the Activities tab as well. We at DHS believe that being involved in school opportunities increases students' positive experiences and opens doors to more connections and opportunities.

 

The typical freshman year schedule is below in no particular order. 

 

Geography S1 / World History S2       = 1 credit 

Math S1 / Math S2                              = 1 credit 

ELA 9 S1 / ELA 9 S2                           = 1 credit 

Phys Science S1 / Phys Science S2   = 1 credit 

PE/Health S1 / PE/Health S2              = 1 credit 

Elective 1 S1 and S2                           = 1 credit 

Elective 1 S1 and S2                           = 1 credit
