National Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.

Feb 1st - 12th

All Junior and Senior boys are eligible to apply for Boys State for the American Legion Program. Boys State is an American Legion Program that teaches young men about the functions of State Government through a hands-on process.
Boys State will be held May 31 – June 4, 2021 at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD.

Douglas School District will continue the 14-day quarantine as it is working for our schools

Band and choir concerts will be streamed live at these times.

Because of COVID-19, South Dakota's K-12 schools are using distance learning on a regular basis. Some students do not have access to their schoolwork at home because of a lack of internet connectivity. The K-12 Connect program provides free internet service to eligible K-12 students in their homes for the 2020-21 school year.
