In an effort to give snow removal crews an opportunity to clear roads and parking lots, and to give bus drivers and families more time to safely transport students to school, Douglas schools will open two hours late tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7th. There will be no morning preschool or breakfast.
District leaders will reassess the conditions in the morning and message staff and families by 6:30 a.m. if a decision is made to cancel school. As always, if you choose to keep your student home due to the weather conditions, please notify your child's school.
