1. Any Junior or Senior interested in applying to attend the South Dakota Youth Congress, stop by the counseling office for an application.  The conference will be held in July at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.  Applications are due May 23, 2008 and there is a $65 fee to attend (which includes meals, housing and materials).
2. The DHS Science Dept. would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all the student body classes for the gifts of food this week. They were greatly appreciated!
3. Cheer tryouts for the fall 2008 season will be held in the Auxiliary Gym May 19-21 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. each night. Please come dressed for participation. A current physical must be on file in the Activities Office.
4. The perfect gift for Mother's Day -- Mother's Day flowers from the Art Club. Only $5! Please see Mrs. Zimmerman. They are going fast!
5.  The Community Library will close for this school year beginning next week. The Library will close at 3:30 p.m. beginning Monday, May 12, so please plan accordingly.
6.
