I was born and raised in Rapid City.  Except for a few years living in California, I have lived here my entire life.  I am married and have three grown children, two boys and one girl.

 I have been teaching since 1987, and all of my teaching experience has been in the Douglas School District.  Most of my experience has been at the 2nd and 3rd grade levels.  I moved to the middle school in 2006, and I really enjoy teaching sixth grade.  

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sewing, working all types of puzzles, and going for walks with my husband and our two dachshounds.
